I've always wanted to take Lily's Easter pics with a cute little bunny or some baby chicks or both even! So this year I decided I would finally do it. I'm getting some baby chicks and a baby bunny from Jones Feed today and and taking her picture this week
in her Easter dress. Then I thought I would offer this to everyone since I'm going through all the trouble of getting these little animals. And since the trees and flowers are all starting to blossom, it's a perfect time! Taking your kids to get their pics done at a studio can get expensive, especially since you have to pay a sitting fee and then buy all the portraits. I'm gonna charge $90, and that will get you the whole Disc of edited pics! I'll take as many as it takes to get some good ones! If you're interested, let me know soon. I'll only keep these "pets" for a few weeks, so hurry "while supplies last"! :-) I'll post Lily's pics as soon as I get them taken and done. I have a few picturesque places to take the pictures, or if you have a place that you would like, that can be arranged! Email me, at Jamiliajean@yahoo.com, or leave a comment!

Book club review #1: "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory

Happy March! Well, It's the first of March and the first book club review! The movie came out last night, did anyone see it? I attempted to, but the movie times didn't work out so we saw "Vantage Point" instead. I intend to see it today, though! Anyway, on with the review. I enjoyed this book. I have often thought about it randomly since finishing it. I started feeling like it was really wishy-washy....going to court, leaving court...yada yada. But then, I started thinking of it as reading someones journal, and I became really interested in the whole idea of it! It was a real eye opener into those times...the way they lived, they way they dressed, and how everything revolved around the king to make him happy. I found myself shaking my head a lot. :-) Hats off to the Author, who I'm sure had to do major research to make this book believable. I didn't know who Anne Boleyn was when I started reading it. I didnt know she was a real person until someone at work asked me if it was about King Henry the 8th, and Anne Boleyn, and I said.."Why would you even know that?" She said, "Don't you remember her from History?" Apparently I was busy doing other things in that class....?! Mary Boleyn, the Other Boleyn sister, was the least know Boleyn, so Philippa Gregory took it upon herself to make her known by filling in the blanks with the actual facts about her. I bet Mary appreciates that! :-) So, I did like this book! I felt like it was well rounded. I liked that the author would elude to something without actually saying it. My rating.....B+!
Now it's your turn. Leave your comments and tell me everything you thought. Also, make sure you leave your rating! Now, for the Book Club book for the month of March....Drum roll please...."The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. It can be found in the fiction section of any bookstore, or Library, or by clicking here you can order it. This one was on my list to be read, but when Megan Verno said she wanted to read it I thought, done! This one's for you Megan! Get reading!

President's Weekend
So, we decided to do a little weekend trip to Utah for some snowboarding. There were some good and bad times! We had a lot of fun hanging out with my sister Jaci, and her boyfriend Kyle....Lily especially! Jake bought me some new boarding pants and some sunglasses from this website that he's obsessed with..(If you are into snowboarding, or that type of style, check it out: WhiskeyMilitia....It posts one item until its sold, and then puts up another one. It's all on a really good discount.) Anyways, Jake and I went up to the Canyons and went boarding and had a lot of fun together....until I banged my knee into an iceburg...that's what it seemed like. I got a little down on the whole day after that! I did see Scott Wolf from "Party of Five" though! Very 1995. You can see my lovely rainbow of a bruise below. Then we went to the BYU vs. UNLV game in Provo, and watched BYU give us that beating we gave them last month. I wasn't happy, and found myself loathing those "zoobies" even more! Sorry you BYU-ers, but it's true! Very annoying fans! Lily enjoyed it though! She tells me at least everyday that she wants to be a Rebel Girl. Anyways, here some pics from our trip!

American Idol try-outs are the best!
My family and I have been watching These clips on Tivo over and over again, and dying laughing! I felt the need to share this with ya'll if you haven't already seen it. I freaking love it, and its such a mixture of emotion where I want to die laughing, and then dive under a table and die of embarrassment! Enjoy!!
