Happy Birthday to me!!

Jake and I decided to go on a trip together, just he and I, for a week and left Lily with my parents. It was a birthday present for me! We are still on our trip, but I got this e-mail this morning and now I'm ready to come home! :-) Yay...28! (I'm old)

Renesmee Revised

So I changed a few things in photoshop like her eye color and made her hair a little more bronze. What do you think? Nessie or no? (Click on the Pic...it makes it a little easier to see the detail..)

Renesmee??

Is it just me, or does the first pic of Lily below kind of look like what Renesmee would look like? I think she looks half vampire in it. :-) She just needs some bronze colored, ringlet hair extensions! What color were her eyes? I could change that in photoshop...!

For taking these beautiful pictures of Lily while I was at work! He's been obsessing about the white balance, and getting the color and light just perfect, and I think he's pretty close. I love this girl so much, she makes me smile and laugh everyday!....is it even possible I can love another baby just as much? I think I might explode with love if that's the case!

Breaking Dawn Midnight Party!

Have you gotten the book yet? Wow! It's pretty crazy already, and I'm only on like page 200! Well, friday night my long time friend and fellow "twilighter",Britney, convinced me to go to the midnight release of "Breaking Dawn" at Border's Books. So, at around 10:30pm, Britney, My sister-in-law Kerry, Britney's sister-in-law Katie and Brit's husband Jaren, along with two little night owls, Lily and her cousin Meg, jumped in the car and went to the party! It was funny to see how everyone was so into it, dressed up as characters from the book, and anxiously awaiting the books arrival. There was a costume contest, and a raffle to be the first, second and third people in line to get books at 12:01am. We didn't dress up, but we did enter the raffle of course, and since Lily and Meg are such fans of the book, they entered too! :-) We had fun hanging out at the bookstore, and considering that most 2-year-olds are asleep at 10:30pm, we had the whole kid's section to ourselves! They gave out vampire fangs, and Edward and Bella stickers. It was quite an event!

They announced over the intercom about a half hour before the release that Kerry Hogle was the winner to be the 2nd person in line to get the book! We were laughing and excited especially since there was a least 100+ people there and we hadn't reserved a copy previously. We ran up to the front just as they were gonna pull another ticket for the second place in line, since we weren't up in the front waiting for the winners. But, as we said "she's here!" the whole crowd sighed. Haha! Then, they pulled the next ticket, and the lucky winner for the third place in line was none other than Meg Hogle!....Kerry's 2-year-old daughter. Even funnier! Our entire gang made our way up the front of the line and waited for the magical moment! There wasn't a limit on how many books you could buy, so Kerry and "Meg" bought 2 books each, and we were out of there in no time! It couldn't have been better. Here's the count down to the book release...it was very secure.

Crazy Legs!

Let me first say that This title has two meanings. First, Lily had a good time making my legs "pretty" While I was talking on the phone last night! She decorated me with markers I didn't know I had...(I'm still unsure where she found them...) and Dora stickers! I tried to shoo her away when I saw her coming with them, but after a while she convinced me that my legs needed some special attention, and went to work! Washable marker is harder to get off then one would imagine! It took quite a bit of exfoliation. Now, since my legs are very colorful in these pics, it's hard to see the giant bruises on my knees. Here's the second reason for the crazy legs title!...This is a story that's too embarrassing not to share. Okay, I was leaving my salon while holding my keys and a drink. I bravely stepped off the sidewalk to get to my car, and apparently there must of been an earthquake or something because I completely tripped and belly flopped into the street! But not before crashing into someones car and setting off the alarm! My keys and lemonade went flying, and I laid in the street trying to figure out if I killed the baby or not. I'm pretty sure I caught most of the fall on my knee caps because I have some nice battle wounds to show for it! (The baby is still kicking and I heard the heartbeat the other day so I know she's fine :-)...) The only other person who saw me fall was another pregnant girl...she ran over and made she I was alright.) Then, the persons car alarm I set off came out of the nail salon next door, gave me the dirtiest look known to mankind, turned it off, and walked back inside! After I made it to my car, I laughed. It must have looked hilarious. Jake is convinced that I tripped because I couldn't see my feet...my belly isn't THAT big yet!

Cousins Photoshoot!

We took some really fun pics last Saturday! My sister-in-law Kerry took some cute ones too...you can check hers out by clicking HERE. It's hard work chasing 3 2-year-olds around!! These three are cousins. Lily is the oldest by five months, and then Meg who is the midget of the three, and then Layla who is 9 months younger than Lily, but never the less a giant! They all love each other. I wish I had cousins my age! I'd tell you where we did it, but then I wouldn't get you to ask me to take your pics. :-) If you're interested, let me know!
